David Manners has a life long passion for, and involvement with choral music.

Born and raised in the West of England, he first sang in his organist father's parish choir in Weston-super-Mare before becoming a chorister in the choir of Bristol Cathedral.

Whilst reading for a degree in music at Liverpool University, David sang in the choir of the Metropolitan Cathedral and conducted the University Singers. He also founded a university chamber choir, the Consort of Voices.

Since university, David has combined choral singing and conducting with teaching and workshopping

He has been a tenor lay clerk in the choir of St Georges Chapel, Windsor Castle since 2000 alongside which he runs a private teaching practice.
